Native to tropical America, specifically the Amazon region, and produced within traditional communities in Brazil.

• 100% pure, natural, and wild-harvested.
• Rich in carotenoid pigments (bixin 10–20 g/100g and norbixin) and vitamin E.
• High in unsaturated fatty acids: Linoleic acid (40–74%), Oleic acid (13–40%), Palmitic acid (5–10%), and Stearic acid (3–6%).

• Appearance: Liquid.
• Color: Red to Orange.
• Density (25 °C): 0.900–0.926 g/mL.
• Flash point: ~150 °C.
• Solubility: Insoluble in water; soluble in oils and organic solvents.

• Applications: Ideal for creams, lotions, sunscreens, shampoos, conditioners, and cosmetic formulations such as lipsticks, eyeshadows, and makeup, providing a vibrant natural reddish-orange coloration. Recommended usage level is 1–100%.
• Benefits: Delivers antioxidant, anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, and healing benefits. It protects against oxidative stress, supports sensitive or irritated skin, aids regeneration, and helps protect against UV damage (Important: it is not a substitute for SPF).

• Skin Care: Acts as an antioxidant protecting against free radicals and premature aging, serves as a natural photoprotector against UV radiation, deeply moisturizes (emollient), soothes irritated or inflamed skin, and promotes tissue regeneration.
